Web Solutions: Our Process for Creating a Responsive Website
Phase 1- Information Gathering
We go through the details on the filled-out questionnaire and get more information regarding your aims for the project, your intended target audience, the message you want to put across, your competitors, and a list of URLs of designs you particularly like.
This gives us a better idea of what you want and what we can provide. At this point, we ask for your available content and relevant materials. We then discuss the possibilities for your website briefly.
On completion of this stage, we will send you a summary of all we have discussed, including a proposal detailing the services we will be providing and an initial (estimate) quote.
Phase 2 – Brainstorming
Once we have all the information gathered from above, and you are satisfied with the initial quote, we require a 30% deposit, after which we proceed with the planning and designing your website.
We work closely with you all the way to plan various aspects of your site, such as navigation, the number of pages, sub-pages (menu), the various formats of content, functionalities, and technologies that will need to be implemented.
Finally, for this phase, we then provide you with a summary of all the bells and whistles your site will need and a mock-up of your site.
Phase 3- Build Design Develop
If you are satisfied with the mockup, we require a further 40%, after which we proceed to build, design, and develop. We also provide a login portal so you can review the site continually and provide your comments while the site is being made. We tweak and revise your website until you are satisfied.
Phase 4- Test Test Test – Then Go Live!
When the site is finished, we run it through many tests to ensure we fix any bugs or compatibility issues. Once both sides are happy with the website, we will invoice you for the remainder of the fees. The site is then moved from the staging site to its new home, ready to receive visitors; a star is born!
